As part of the Shredall SDS Group, Loft Self Storage is able to offer a full range of document management services to our business customers. Document scanning services are available to help you digitise your paper records in bulk.

We have the hardware and the software necessary to make document scanning a hassle-free process, even for the largest projects. Shredall SDS Group will digitise your paper documents and make them accessible to you via a secure online portal, memory stick or hard drive. The physical documents can then be stored or destroyed as needed - also activities that Shredall SDS Group can handle for you.

Electronic archives have all kinds of advantages for businesses. Not only do they save space, they also make your documents easier to access from anywhere and increase your security.

How does our document scanning service work?

Step one is the collection of your files. One of Shredall SDS Group's vetted staff members will pick up all your documents in a secure transport and bring them back to our Nottingham facility. If you need a file urgently at this point, we can send it back or email a scanned copy. It's also possible to scan the files into our software yourself on your own premises, if you'd rather have full control of the process.

Once the documents have been scanned, you will have access to the new, digital files through our secure online portal or a password-protected hard drive. Our software has excellent retrieval capabilities. It is able to read hand writing and bar codes as well as typed texts to allow you to find the documents you need, whatever their format.

The physical documents can then be stored in our secure archive or destroyed, after which Shredall SDS Group will present you with a certificate of destruction.
