All goods must be protected and insured whilst stored at Loft Self Storage. We provide you with a convenient protection plan that is specifically designed for self storage use. Taking out insurance cover is standard procedure for all self storage companies. 

Enter your unique PIN code into the keypad on the main gate, drive in, and then enter your code again to access the store for the indoor units. 

Yes, all of our sites have lots of space for parking whilst you are loading, unloading, or visiting your units. Our sites are also well connected by public transport so if you’re not moving things in or out and prefer not to drive then reaching our sites is still easy.

Hucknall and Bestwood Village can be accessed by tram and train from Nottingham city centre. Both locations are also on many bus routes.

The cost of your self storage will depend on the number of storage units being rented, as well as how long you will be renting them for. You can book with us online for an accurate price.

You can store your belongings with us for as long as you need to. Self storage at Loft is flexible, there is no minimum or maximum storage period.

When applying for self storage, you’ll need two forms of ID: one with a photo (i.e driving licence) and one with proof of address (i.e. utility bill). If you’re using business storage, you’ll be required to show evidence of a link to the company (i.e. business card). 

You can book online at any point before needing to use our storage facility, simply book with us online to arrange your self storage booking. We recommend booking in advance to ensure space availability.

Our sites also have room for vehicle and caravan/motorhome storage.

We can store almost anything, except for living things and perishable goods. Flammable items such as fireworks are not permitted. Also, any items which run on petrol engines should be fully drained before entering the storage facility.

You can access your storage unit as often as you like within our opening hours, which are Bestwood Village Business Park -Mon - Fri 6am - 6pm and Sat 6am- 12pm. Hucknall is open 7 days a week 7am - 7pm. Out of hours access can also be arranged with our team.

Only you will have access to your unit. You will be assigned a unique PIN code to access the site and you will place your own padlock on the door. No one else has access to your unit.

You can move in your items on the same day that you book your storage, provided it’s during our opening hours and that you have the relevant documents to sign your contract.

To retrieve a forgotten PIN code for our self-storage site, please contact our team at the branch where you’re storing. They will assist you in verifying your identity and guide you through the process of resetting or retrieving your PIN.
